U.S. Local Business Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement

WASHINGTON D.C., July 2, 2008 -- Precious Home Companion has been selected for the 2008 Best of Vallejo Award in the Home Health Service category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).

The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2008 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.

PHC offers free caregiver training at Ramada Inn Vallejo on July 22nd from 1pm to 4pm in cooperation with Napa Valley Hospice.  There will be two topics:  first one is all about Hospice - a discussion about the general philosophy of  Hospice care.  Second topic is Comfort Care for the Dying Patient - a general discussion of the nature of death and dying, the physical changes that oocur as a patient approaches death and what the bedside caregivers can do to bring comfort to the dying patient.  Only 30 seats available, call to reserve seat @ 866-900-0006.
